My name is Robert Zacchigna and welcome to my little corner of the web containing my various (data science’y) projects that I am working on or have completed.
On the left-hand side of the page you will see a sidebar that lists all the projects I have worked on and published. Feel free to browse around and take a look, there is quite the variety of content to view.
A Little About Me (Resume) #
I graduated from Illinois State University in 2019 and not long after started working as a Data Engineer at Discover Financial Services (I am currently working as a Software Engineer at Capital One, 2022).
During my time at Discover, I was able to pursue a Masters in Data Science and find my passion for Data Science and Data Engineering thanks to their employee advancement program (which only further cemented my love for Python).
I have since graduated from Bellevue University (2021) with a Masters in Data Science and continue to develop my analytical skills through the various projects that I pursue, see sidebar to the left.
I have also continued my learning and engineering advancement of cloud services with AWS Certifications:

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (2022)

- I did not create this module, but I significantly rewrote and modernized it.

- MKVAudioSubsDefaulter
- Simple multi-processing python cli to set the default audio and/or subtitles of a single matroska (.mkv) file or a library of files WITHOUT having to remux the file.
- BlackDocPlus
- A modernized version of the BlackDoc theme: a two-column Jekyll theme for websites that require a master-detail layout for viewing of content (the current theme of my/this site).
